Many places serve good food. Excellence however, is hard to find. To award that rarity, we have devised our own Rating System. There are multiple factors that come into play when giving Lids: taste, service, ambiance, price and overall experience.
Lids are not easy to earn. When a decision is close, we air on the side of caution. In order to produce better accuracy, we only compare Lids within a given section. In other words, we aren’t equating a pastry from “Sweet Tooth” to a lobster dish in “Fancy Food.”
As our way of saying thank you, at the end of each calendar year, we will be awarding our favorite eatery in each category a Golden Lid!
